New Playground Construction at Beaver Dam Creek CP

We stopped by Beaver Dam Creek County Park in Boro today to check on the progress of the new playground. The transformation is well underway, with the piles of parts in the parking lot now mostly installed. Almost all the visual features have been set up, showcasing a vibrant and exciting new design that promises endless fun for kids of all ages.

Despite some areas still needing attention, such as swapping out the rock under the playset for something softer and installing flooring pads around the edges, the playground is shaping up beautifully. While our kids were a bit frustrated by the absence of slides, they were thrilled by the abundance of climbing structures. It’s clear that this playground will offer a wide variety of activities to keep children entertained and active.

The design is certainly unique and we’re particularly excited about its accessibility features. It’s heartening to see that the playground has been planned with inclusivity in mind, ensuring that children of all abilities can enjoy it. Have you had a chance to stop by and check it out? If so, do you know when it’s expected to open? We’re eagerly awaiting the completion and can’t wait to see the community enjoying this fantastic new space.
